Together we make a bigger impact

University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG): The Netherlands

UMCG is focused on “healthy ageing” in all priority areas: research, clinical care and education. X-Infex works with Professor Jan Maarten van Dijl from the Medical Microbiology Department for bacterial testing and product development. The fundamental approach to research at the UMCG is unique that it is characterised by a combination of fundamental and patient oriented clinical research. This means that the fundamental technology and commercial feasibility and practicality are combined at a very early development point.

The Imaging Pathogens for Knowledge Translation (ImPaKT) Facility, Western University Ontario: Canada

ImPaKT is a one-of-a-kind facility that allows researchers to develop tools and methods to better understand the progression of infectious diseases, identify efficacious antimicrobial agents, develop diagnostic reagents to characterize hidden reservoirs of pathogens and for the early and accurate detection of infections. X-Infex works with ImPaKT to determine the antiviral profiles of its materials.
